We moved in to our second Airbnb on Lofoten, which is in the town of Sørvågen. It’s modern and nice and has a beautiful view. It is very blustery out today! We hit the Lofoten Viking Museum on our way down and had a nice time amidst 35 mph winds.
New digs
Whole family is laughing about the two toilets being seriously 4 feet apart - luckily with a wall separation!
Dae’s inner Chinese came out at dinner. He was shelling these shrimp like a madman and gobbling them up. We then kept stealing peeks at our neighbor table, two Norwegian girls who ordered a bowl of shrimp each and shelled them very quickly! Much quicker than us.
Grass on roofs is fairly common here, we still can’t figure out why it’s done
Nice bread slicer they have at grocery stores
Cute town of Hamnoy
Axe throwing at Viking Museum
Lots of nice scenery on our drives
Viking museum. Large (and heavy!) helmets
We walked to the store to get essentials: heavy cream, laundry detergent, strawberry jam
We’re all addicted to these smoothies. Our family is plowing through around 10 a day give or take. Olin had four the other day, and I think Christian too
