Peter Jebsens veg and $10 gas

We visited the nearby beach called Rørvikstranda today and wondered is it ever warm enough to lay out? Doesn’t seem so! Today was extremely low key. It was raining so we played Catan, visited the beach, watched movies, napped, and had dinner at the Bryggehotell across the water (like 150m). The cod and halibut were really good and the dessert was delish.

Two funny things: on the drive home from the fjords a few days ago we kept driving on a road called “Peter Jebsens veg”. For some reason “veg” is a very common name of road and it sounds very funny on maps. Also, gas is 25 kroner per liter which is $2.50 which is about $10 a gallon!!!

Midnight sun! (Rain)

Glass shop in town. They also had a potter and we bought a couple cute little items.

This main kitchen area, though small, is surprisingly relaxing

Curler’s knee. Haha.

10:30pm update: the sun is out! Forced the fam to gear up and go out for a walk + photos.

This was actually the glass blowing and pottery place. They were racing.
