All out of order, but today we: 1) took the cable car/gondola called Ulriken to the top of a mountain area that overlooked Bergen. It was gorgeous! We lucked out with the weather. We hiked a little bit and then 2) drove over to our curling “lesson” at 5pm with Olaf at the mall. Haha. So fun. Harder than it looks. The ice is super slippery first of all and you end up slipping all over the place. They wear one grippier shoe (back leg) and one slicker shoe (front leg). You lunge with your left foot forward if you’re right handed and then you release, you’re not supposed to push much and you’re not supposed to put weight on the stone. The stones weigh about 40 pounds.
Then we came back and had Italian dinner at a place called Boccone which was yummy. We then went to “magic ice” ice bar and stayed for seriously 8 minutes, took some photos and left. Ha! Then, with the sun still shining quite brightly at 10pm we got ice cream and waffles.
