Things I am especially thankful for during Coronavirus

  1. baking bread
  2. a working printer
  3. laptops and iPads
  4. online workout classes
  5. a yard
  6. family and cousins' visits
  7. a large house with lots of room
  8. BIKES
  9. a very bike-able neighborhood
  10. I'm used to cutting the kids hair and have clippers
  11. time to cook, and trying lots of recipes
  12. Nespresso
  13. at-home skin regimen
  14. the fact that my hair doesn't get colored regularly
  15. the fact that my hair doesn't get cut regularly
  16. time with kids
  17. Dae home a lot more
  18. INTERNET
  19. the amount of TV shows available to us at any time
  20. sunshine and good weather
  21. online ordering
  22. access to a facemask maker (Ev)
  23. UPS and Fedex and USPS
  24. Ace hardware and home projects
  25. Barb teaching me how to prune trees via text
  26. ZOOM
  27. Sagebrush Montessori teachers and structured homeschool
  28. Seattle condo, a change of scenery
  29. Vitamix
  30. Kombucha
  31. growing new plants and vegetables
  32. BOOKS and kids reading
  33. neighborhood boys for kids to play with
  34. comfortable lounge wear
  35. sunblock
  36. the option to do take-out
  37. our health
  38. running outside and that our neighborhood is great for running
  39. TikTok
  40. dry shampoo

Things I have not missed or needed much during quarantine:
  1. car
  2. hair dryer or flatiron
  3. make-up
  4. showers. ha!
  5. anything other than comfortable lounge wear
  6. socializing

Most importantly, things that have taken on a new meaning/different perspective, and just so happened to also happen during quarantine:

  1. understanding racial inequity
  2. understanding socioeconomic inequity
  3. time for compassion
  4. time for empathy
  5. time for listening
