Cherries & Cousins

Cherry picking season is in full swing and we (kids and I) picked last week and then I immediately called Ev to tell her the Benton cherries are very delicious and fun to pick, so they drove down Tuesday and stayed until today (Friday). We had another fun-filled visit which consisted of 1) not doing much and 2) ordering take-out. hahaha.

I was his ladder. He loved it up there.

Getting those Bings! This is before we knew about the Bentons.

the 11-year old adult

Cousins! Round II. I think we picked around 25 pounds of mostly Bentons, some Bings and some Rainiers.

Blind taste test. So funny because I kept forgetting which order I gave them so she ended up having to eat like 4 times the amount of cherries. It was so hard to tell them apart (blind) plus they all look the same besides Rainiers.

Digging a huge hole at Ferry Court beach and then gathering silt from the bottom. They entertained themselves for a couple of hours.

Another trip to our local bike repair man on Westmoreland which consisted of us piggybacking on bikes because we had to drop off the two bikes for flat tire repair

Playing Grey's Anatomy. Photo assumption would be that Olin was the patient.

Outside Starbucks

Gathering hedgehog poop for the vet's office (he did great! They said he hissed at first but warmed up quickly and was friendly, and all-around looked very healthy). We also now carry him around in a little hedgehog purse. If someone had told me I would, at 42 years old, be carrying a hedgehog around in a purse.....

He was completely passed out after play and the vet's office. I actually wondered if he was ok, but he was fine.

Spudnut goodbye

Going to visit our math tutor's new pet goats

2nd bath. He likes this sink much better than the sloped incline bathroom sinks. He seems to enjoy the warm water.

Relaxing

First Kincaid pool visit last week. Christian's wetsuit was SO tight we could not stop laughing when I helped him squeeze in to it.
