Covid Chronicles # 9 - Why do you have a Garbage Can on your Head

Worked our way up to 1.5 miles

I don't know what this is called but it's in our backyard and pretty

State chess tourney! We played 7 games. We each won around 3-4 games. The system was having lots of connectivity problems so the standings may not end up the same, but Olin got 85th out of 165 second graders, Christian got 56th out of 156 5th graders. Not too bad!

We had so many iPads and laptops out

Mid-morning video exercise with a little buddy.

Two nights ago we heard a small crash. Dae went over to investigate the kids' room and came back laughing hard. He had walked in to find Olin trying to get back in to bed, with his green garbage can on his head. Apparently he had fallen off his bed, asleep, his head had somehow landed in his garbage can, and then he had gotten up and the garbage can was still on his head but he was still half-asleep. Dae said Christian was awake on the other side of the room and asked "Olin, why do you have a garbage can on your head?". And then Olin took it off and Dae helped put him back to bed. Olin didn't remember any of it the next morning. SO funny.
There is hope! I just noticed this offshoot this morning. So I watched a 15 minute YouTube video on caring for aloes and offshoots and I feel fairly prepared for new growth.
