Orthodontia and Silverwood

He has brackets on just front two teeth to keep them from spreading apart too far during the palatal expansion. They put these on on August 2.
The palatal expander. There is a little hole in the middle where I turn it about a half turn per night, with a key, for 18 nights in a row. He said it's sore. He is slurping ALL the time right now. Constantly chewing with his mouth open and constantly getting food caught in the expander. I feel bad for him. It's also amazing how quickly the front two teeth moved together. Like 2 days.
There's a funky store called Adventures Underground in Uptown and when we went in to get some books Christian notice this T-shirt matched this flag. Turns out it's the flag for "Cascadia" which the guy explained to me is some movement to separate the NW from the rest of the country (?). Nice that we bought the t-shirt for Christian and had no idea! I think we got it at Pike Place.
Silverwood! Kids finished a good portion of their assigned chores this summer so this was their treat. Silverwood was fun and a very manageable size. Waterpark on one side and amusement park on the other so we visited both over 2 days. This ride (above) looked seriously scary. Dae went on it and said it was intense. haha.
