Advent 2017

My master list. I woke up today and told Dae I bet the kids will be none too pleased about today (say something nice to someone at school day). They actually weren't disappointed at all! They were planning what they were going to say. And then when I asked them at dinner what nice thing they said, there was a big pause...I'm pretty sure they forgot. 

Spudnut with a couple of extra cute carpool friends last Friday. These kids are now eating up to two spudnuts apiece! Side note: Alaina also is doing a spudnut advent but hers is this Thursday, which will be another carpool but this time in her car, so the holiday treats just keep on coming for these kids.

Picking out our tree last night at Beaver Bark. Dae's car (now known as "old car" - hahaha!) got to bear the load this year.

This may not seem that remarkable but it was, to me, a remarkable coincidence. Christian, who never has homework, needed to make a teepee for school so I took him to the craft store at 3:15pm yesterday. When we picked up Olin from school art class at 4pm, he also had homework (he never has homework) and his homework was to put together his paper teepee! You can see Olin's symbol-covered teepee in the left side with green and blue background. Seriously they never have take-home projects, and the chances of them both being teepees clearly blew my mind. haha.
