Bad Week

Between politics and the beloved Huskies, it has been a presidentially and athletically tough week. I don't think I can mentally take another defeat. 😥

Some major bright spots this week:

Ev + kids come to visit and go biking in the fog at 7am in the name of Spudnut Shop donuts

We wake up at 5am with the kids on Saturday morning to zoom over to UW and attend Game Day on ESPN at Red Square! There were a surprisingly large amount of people there. I don't think we got on Game Day TV unfortunately. And after I was so proud of my "Party like it's 1991" sign! haha.

After-school program at Christian's school focusing on fish.

Olin got himself enrolled in after-school chess. I thought he was too young (and he was) but Alaina happened to carpool the afternoon of the first chess class, and he said he wanted to try, and they said he could, so apparently he just sat down and joined the class.

Christian's notifications. Isn't the reverse writing impressive? And you can just see the outline of my Korean sheet mask in the reflection.

My new banner.

Gong Gong's back!

Love the Husky band. Love Suzzallo library. Look at that architecture!

Dawg Zone with Mal

Dawg Zone...all pregame... all smiles..

Pregame - so much excitement.
This game was a REAL bummer. Our 9-0 team, ranked #4, lost to #20 ranked USC, and got outplayed. Dae has never gone to a game where the Huskies have won! So, with that thought in mind, Dae and I actually left at halftime and light-rail-linked it back to downtown Seattle where we watched the game on TV at our hotel! It was hilarious, but unfortunately it did not do the trick.

Chess with Gong Gong. I actually believe Olin may know more about chess than Gong Gong. (And Olin ain't no whiz. ha!)

Bottles & Brushes with Heather, Alaina, and Amy - fellow moms from school.

Memorial Day fun

A nice, low key Memorial Day was had where I had an overnighter in Seattle, kids and Dae saw Mission Impossible in the theater, Stacey and W...
