The Bus

I took the kids for a ride on the Ben Franklin Transit - good ol' route 26. Bus fare is now $1.50! I thought that was outrageous. At least the kids were free, but when I was young I remember it was 10 cents, and then it hiked up to 25 cents. We rode the loop and then walked about 1/3 mile home from a farther bus stop. On the way home, the kids wanted to stop at all the ant holes and smell all the flowers, so that walk took about 35 minutes. Thank goodness we had nowhere to be and nothing to do!

At the transfer station

Olin wanted to wear the Beco carrier

New lunch pails. Kids are very excited about these.

Cooktop! Pendant lights! Working microwave! For some unknown reason I love the pendant lights.

The fridge is working, but it has been temporarily relocated into the family room to avoid getting scratched by tool belts.

The basement. The scene of our day-to-day mess. I am ready to move on up.
