Celebrity Sightings

It's still touch and go here in Seoul. Christian is still vomiting, but less so than before. We brought a few samples of formula we had gotten in the mail just in case the milk here was questionable and he seems to be gobbling that up. He warily eyes any other food we present him, or proceeds to gag and sometimes throw it up. We are tired, to say the least.

On a much more exciting note, we had a mini-celebrity sighting yesterday! We even got a photo! We are not supposed to divulge the sighting or post the photo until the episode has aired, so we are keeping our word and will leave you guessing! haha I am sure it's not going to be nearly as exciting as anticipated, but we were pretty darn pleased because we love that show.

Funny Korea notes for the day: The subway plays this little Korean jingle right before the major stops on the overhead speakers. It doesn't really have a beat and you can't really dance to it, but Christian bobs his head every time it comes...he seems to really like music (and is obviously not very particular in his taste)! Also, we taught Christian how to say "bus" because there are so many buses here, but he just says "buh" and points to the bus.

Oh, one last note. Dae and I met with the Korean vascular surgeon today, Dr. Kim (the original purpose of the whole trip was to tour the local Samsung hospital and meet with the surgeon who had come to OHSU on a visit last year). He was really nice and Dae is going to get to scrub in on 5 surgeries tomorrow! He's even going to help, so he is really excited and I am excited for him! Lugging around a nauseous Christian on my own tomorrow, on the other hand...not so excited about that :)
