Leelee was playing with our landline phone yesterday, punching away at the numbers. We paid him no heed until the phone he was holding rang. We looked over at him, and he looked innocently up at us. I answered and the person at the other end said "This is 911 and we just received a call from your home. Is there an emergency?" So I embarrassingly said that our baby had gotten a hold of the phone and there was no true emergency. Now we're wondering if he had really dialed 911 or if a random combination of numbers will always dial 911 by default?
Last night, he also proceeded to wake up about 6 times (twice with a poopy diaper filled with raisins, which the New Nanny feeds him whenever he is upset, which is apparently often). Dae and I attempted to sleep each time until one of us couldn't take it anymore, then we'd stumble over to the crib and retrieve the offender.
Little rascal.
