I've wanted to go to the Olympic Peninsula for some time, especially since we're so close every time we're in Seattle. We finally made it happen! I rented an airbnb in Port Angeles and followed a blog which outlined a 2 day itinerary. We had a great time, even with plans that didn't quite pan out (too wide to rent canoes at Lake Crescent, too smoky to see the breathtaking views at Hurricane Ridge).

Lots of very docile deer |

The smoke made for some good photos |

Lake Crescent. Too windy for canoe rentals so we dipped our feet in to the water and called it good! The water was surprisingly not cold. |
