Maldives (over-the-water-Bungalow part)

Lots of possibly-redundant-Maldives-water photos that I refuse to edit down. They're too pretty!

I snapped this at the airport to remember there were lots of little cars. Mitsubishis, I feel like. Also, they drive on the left hand side, just like in Singapore.

In the distance is the capital city, Male. I couldn't tell if the Hilton guy said population was 100k or 300k. Although everybody spoke English, a lot was still lost in translation. haha.

1 of 3 focused on the water and not on screen

Heaven on earth. Last morning was the calmest morning and we could see clear through with no obstructions (the ripples in the photo are sand, not water). The water was so calm it was hard to believe it is an ocean.

Side hair parts and goofy faces

Nice Australian couple chatted up the kids and offered to take their photos. Lots of Australians and Brits vacationing in both Maldives and Singapore

Heaven, part a million

We called this our shell sweat shop. Dae and I would rinse out the small condiments containers, then we'd put them out to dry, and then fill them with our (laid out to dry) sand and shells the kids collected.

The paths along the resort

Mandhoo restaurant for our second to last night's dinner

Shell employees hard at work. We were a teensy bit worried we'd be stopped at customs but all was a go and we got to bring our treasures home

Nicest homework view ever

We forgot to post photos of our old room but we loved that room too! Room 114

OK back to the bungalow. Room 401 by the way

Every morning we looked forward to Atoll Market and their breakfast buffet. I labeled all our plates because we all took different options from each other.

Very accurate portrayal of our daily pool time. Kids having fun and me looking in to the water.

Standing (!) atop the Dhoni (boat) that took us over to the other island for a breakfast one day

The glorious fruit

Many shades of turquoise. He blended right in!

Own personal gondolier

Babz' and my happy hour view every evening from Vilu restaurant 4-5pm. haha.
