Kauai Part I

Ke’e Beach. We (Dae) hilariously got online at 2am 30 days prior to get a parking pass for this north shore. We probably would been fine without it. Hahaha.

2012 to 2022

Delicious hot dogs in Waimea

Lu’au Kalamaku recommended by Kincaids. Their hula dancers and fire dancer were incredible! There was a little market before the lu’au and I got this cool bracelet made of apatite that’s supposed to reduce irritability. Ha! Entire family excited about that one for me.

Sunset at Poipu Beach

Somehow all these turtles come to shore around 5:30pm. It is so cool! When we arrived maybe 5 were relaxing on the beach and then we saw, one by one, turtles emerge from the water. One then swam away which was the highlight of the night - it swam so surprisingly fast - the ripples it created looked like a swimmer swimming butterfly.

The .3 mile pretty walk to Ke’e Beach

Hole #9 is just outside our condo (Pili Mai) so it’s really fun. I just wander out when the three of them are at hole #1 and hole #9

New beach! Dirt road to a dirt path to either a short or long (what we took) hike to Gillin’s Beach and another bay I cannot remember the name of. It’s close to Poipu and fun so we’ll return tomorrow.

Perfect temps

Forgot my entire makeup bag in seattle so we went to Long’s and I got a few very random items on sale at 50% off. Nice brown paper bag.

2012 and 2022

So fun. Kelly’s outgoing flight got canceled, they got on this flight a day later and it turned out to be the exact  same plane/gate we arrived on so we got to meet at the airport!

Date with Fate smoothie at Moloa’a fruit stand is always a hit

We plan to hit the fireworks at 8:15…if we’re awake

Waikomo shave ice is yummy
