Thanksgiving 2022 - DC and Georgia

DC and Georgia were lots of fun. We hit the Holocaust Museum, Museum of African History (delicious food), and the Air & Space Museum (ho hum but half of it was closed). We stayed in Georgetown area and walked to cute coffee area every morning. The places we ate were delicious: Le Diplomate trendier French restaurant, Rasika Indian West End, Kungfu Kitchen in Alexandria, So Korean BBQ in Centreville, Call Your Mother (breakfast bagels, Jewish Deli), Compass coffee, Blue Bottle Coffee.

We did a VR escape room with the four of us. It was so fun, and started out SO badly.  I had no clue and I mean no clue what I was even doing. So I was just standing there, not moving (virtually) for a long time until I finally got some tips and figured it out. We escaped in 56 minutes.

Fancy dinner with my fancy dates

Georgetown University! Cute, and small

National Mall

Compass Coffee in Georgetown

Little tennis court right by our airbnb. It was so warm the last day

Fudge from Thomas Sweet shop - when you buy 1 lb you get 1/2 lb free so of course we got 1 1/2 pounds which is a LOT of fudge

These leaves were everywhere and cool-shaped. We looked it up and they are gingko trees

The photog remembered his camera and hauled it around everywhere taking photos. He was so excited he remembered to bring it.

Supreme Court. This was my favorite building.

Lincoln Memorial

Outside the White House

Georgia! We hiked a short hike near Helen, Georgia

Tons of card playing over thanksgiving weekend. They taught us how to play Nerts (kind of like solitaire but with a group) which was great fun

They have a big basement with foosball, ping pong, weight room, etc. Here is Elizabeth and Uncle Dae

Haha. Haraboji watching the World Cup soccer
