More Life in the 509

I'll definitely miss having the kids around in the mornings once they go back to school full-time (date TBD). Between their occasional fights, they are very pleasant and very funny.


Christian nicely took my slippers out of the washing machine and came to find me to inform me "they don't look great - kind of like a wet rat"

We've had some very nice and relaxing weekends in Seattle recently. Last weekend when we went bouldering our family all climbed the same runs (don't know if that's the right term) and it was so much fun.

After tennis, they wait 15 minutes for me to finish Pilates and luckily AJ often joins them to wait for her mom to finish teaching class at CBRC. 

New Irish baking and shaping method for sourdough. Same-day bread plus the boule maintains its shape well (bonus) but this loaf was quite dry.


Bangs! I was hemming and hawing for a while and both my hairdresser and Ev said no it won't look good. I feel like they look great around 15% of the time. :)

CK track meet for Olin

It was a fun day (at least as an observer!). Olin participated in the 4x100 relay, 200m and 400m and about died after pushing himself in the...
