The remnants of the 243 fire (aka Command fire aka Grant County Fire) when we drove over yesterday. There were actual flames, and when we drove through it there was fire on either side and we couldn't see through the smoke for about 100 meters, which was pretty scary. Also, in front of us were THREE semi trucks with full loads of hay bales! We could not believe they made it through without catching on fire.
