I have been coughing (dying) for a little over a month. Last week, I actually thought I might be getting a hernia from all the coughing. Finally, a couple days ago, the cough started to lessen. Hallelujah! I hadn't gone to the doctor because I felt like they weren't going to tell me anything I didn't know, plus stuff like this usually just rides itself out, to the bitter end. Ha!
Unfortunately Dae contracted whatever I had and is now in the throes of some serious coughing. He, as opposed to me, opts for a highly medicated route to recovery. :) He also makes sure he puts on his little ski neck warmer every night as he is convinced that neck warmth is the key to speedy recoveries. Funny.
Here are some various kid stuffs:

Christian's knitting from school. He took an after-school knitting class offered by teacher Samantha last year and he is about a thousand times better at knitting than I am now. I am sure Dae is so proud of his son the little knitter :) |

Some sort of woven thing that Olin was very proud of. Primary school activity. |

Baba likes having his back stepped on. I believe my weight ever-so-slightly exceeds the comfort level he desires, so the kids' weights are just about right for him. |

Olin. He loves to play "restaurant" and "store" with his little yellow legal pad. I order, then he takes and writes down the first letter of every item I say, and the result is this hodgepodge string of letters which make no sense to anybody but him (or not even him). Anytime we come home from Costco, he scrambles to put the groceries away in the pantry through our little half-door, and then he arranges all the groceries and tells me to order when I am ready. I tell him what groceries I'd like and then I give him pretend money. It's cute, except when I'm in a huge rush to put away groceries (often!). Last week he asked if he could leave his pad and pen in the pantry and I said yes. |

Dae's muscle shirt that we both cracked up hysterically about when he emerged downstairs. I have been taking a weight lifting class at the gym and I think I'm getting pretty buffed. haha. Dae said he cannot have me lifting more than he can, so he has now made it to the gym 3 times in the past week or so to get back to his Cornell-weightlifting-body, circa 1995-96. |
