Montreal Day #6

Dae and I hired a babysitter named Gaultier (friend of the owner of the apartment) and hit the town for dinner at L'Express restaurant on Rue St. Denis. It was delicious and lots of fun. The kids loved Gaultier, and especially loved the nightly ice cream treats they were allowed!

We took a whole slew of self-portraits tonight...

On the subway

Cornichons in a jar. Dae ate about 30 of these bad boys, drenched in mustard.

Dessert - always my favorite part of the meal. This dessert was a meringue with a burnt caramelized crust and caramel "lake" surrounding it. We stuffed ourselves!

End of the meal espresso.

We were trying to show the name of the restaurant "L'Express" which is written on the tile leading up to the restaurant. Instead, the picture shows two S's and two large heads :)

Head to toe Uniqlo...good stuff.

Notre Dame by night. This little violin/guitar duo were playing tonight in front of Notre Dame and were playing all of my favorite hits. Carmen, Memory, La Vie En Rose. We bought their CD and are playing it now.  Money well spent!

Metro oncoming!
