1) The carwash: He gets so scared going through the carwash! Now I have to unbuckle him and bring him up to the driver's seat with me when we go through.
2) The fire at Benihana grill. When the cook does the big fire display on the grill, Olin gets really really scared.
Other than that, he's both smiley and serious, and funny.
Haraboji and Halmoni arrived yesterday. As is the case more often than not, plans changed and while we were under the impression they were coming today (Saturday), turns out they actually arrived yesterday (Friday) instead. I often ask Dae how in the world his family has succeeded thus far in life. Anyway, I was scrambling - house was a mess, sheets weren't washed, I had worked Monday through Thursday so I hadn't had a chance to get anything in order, groceries weren't purchased, etc. But as always it's really nice to have them around, and fortunately the sun is shining with a vengeance which is perfect because they arrived straight from Hawaii and I was afraid they were going to freeze to death.
Some photos from the past few days:
We can't find the handle that came with the Kettler so this broom handle is doing the job (pretty well!) Oh, by the way, this helmet is tight as can be. Oh, the big heads in this family! |
A little tree hangout at Leslie Groves park yesterday when it was 56 degrees and sunny! |
Leelee's Home Depot project today - a Valentine's Card holder. |
Luckily one of our boys' helmets still fits. |
Typical Koreans! I have a really big head too.
