Halloween Shirt

There are several things wrong with the next photo. 1) Shirt is on backwards 2) Shirt is several sizes too small. So the shirt is on backwards because Leelee actually put it on all by himself and was really proud, and I didn't want to ruin his moment :) Secondly, I was determined to put him in something orange and didn't want to buy him anything new, so last year's Halloween shirt had to suffice.

Black Rainbows

Today Leelee said "I see a rainbow. A small one. A black one."

And here are some photos from the past couple of days:

Lightning McQueen race car driver and a banana for the mom's potluck

I find Olin's scrunched face so funny in this photo.

We told Leelee to copy Olin's face

The next couple are taken by Leelee. I discovered them on my iPhone and figured he had gotten his grubbies onto my phone again. I have to say, he shows a little bit of artistic flair when it comes to photography..and look at the resolution on that foot photo! haha

Lots of Photos!

Here we go with the full set of photos Dawn took when Olin was 5 days old. They are so cute and funny :)

And some photos from today, of slightly lesser quality:

I started laughing when I saw both Christian and Olin's facial expressions in this photo.

I'm keeping a running tally of my milk. The obsession has begun (Dawn you understand) haha!

Funnies, Part II

More Funnies:

Today in the car ride home from daycare we are sitting in silence, then I hear:

"Mommy?"
Yes
"Are you pooin'?"

I started laughing out loud. We were in the car, mind you, plus he says pooin', not pooing, which just makes it all the funnier to me. Then he proceeded to tell me he saw a "Max Train, go downtown". Where did he learn downtown?

Funnies

Funnies:

1) Leelee's new favorite activity is washing the dishes. We turn the water on to a trickle and he will stand on his stool indefinitely 'washing dishes'

2) According to him, cows say "moon moon". Anytime he doesn't know what sound an animal makes, they say "moon moon"

3) His Converse shoes are otherwise known as "Conber"

4) Last week in the car, he shouts out "Holy moly, that bus is huge!"

5) I've said it before and I'll say it again...this guy has an eye for Volvos. Any year, any shape (sedan, wagon, SUV), he can spot a Volvo from the front or side. I still don't understand. Yesterday we passed what was probably a 1980's white Volvo sedan and he knew immediately it was a Volvo without even seeing the Volvo sign. I mean, this car looks nothing like ours. (Maybe he's got a career in Scandinavian autos in his future!)

Good Photos of the Boys

I think the title of the post gives it away...Yes these are photos taken by Dawn. Yes she's pretty darn talented. These were taken on our dining room floor with no special lighting, just Dawn and her camera and eye! (btw, my socks have full-on holes in them and I had absolutely no idea. Like the heels had holes that were 1 inch in diameter. I am falling apart, literally)

Lefty

We are wondering if Christian is going to be a lefty. He definitely prefers his left hand when coloring or writing his "H's" (which is the only letter he can write). That means a career in surgery or dentistry will be do-able, just more of a hassle, but he can certainly become a secretary (mom's dream profession) or PGA golfer (dad's dream profession) without any problem!

Writing with his left hand at the Richland Marriott this weekend

Olin's spiky straight hair is so funny to me. I looked over this morning and saw this tuft of hedgehog hair peeking out of the blankets. (It looks like he's being stifled with blankets but his head was free and clear.)

Olin in his new Swaddleme blankets. He wiggled out of the swaddling blankets we used with Christian, and we never were very adept at the Miracle Blankets.

Halmoni and her Korean wrap. She's got this thing down!

Christian brushing. Brushing his teeth is such a challenge. I now understand why kids get cavities!
