As you might be able to tell from the red backdrop on a majority (ok, all) of our photos, Christian spends a large portion of his life on our couches. Here he is in his new 'gentleman' outfit. I think he looks like a proper little gentleman! (Collared onesie $2 sale at Baby Gap, pants $5 sale at Gymboree, Robeez from our fun realtor Cary. Dae says the true Chinese comes out in me with my heavy bargain shopping!) He has recently begun to blow-through outfits, especially after a big meal. We were hoping he would not blow through his gentleman outfit and he managed to do fairly well (just a little leakage).

I don't look particularly cute or wear fancy clothing these days, so I thought I would document the rare occasion that I am looking 'fancy'. This shirt I purchased at Ross for $18 and it is a new favorite (in other words, be prepared to see a lot of it!). I took this this past weekend when Leelee and I were lounging in the rocking chair and dad was napping out on the couch. You can catch a glimpse of the necklace that Lisa got me...I love it. It has Christian's name and birthdate on a silver disk.
Look at those cheeks!
Speaking of this past weekend, it was Memorial Day weekend and Dae got the entire 3-day weekend off! We celebrated by hitting up Costco, Gymboree, Baby Boot Camp (dads came free on Monday - Dae was game and came with me but is definitely not in the prime of his fitness!) and went walking about in the Pearl District. Dae also babysat on Saturday as Ev and I got Pedis and went to Minah's Barbecue. All in all a fun-filled weekend!
I love the blog! Too funny about Christian being demoted to sleeping on the floor!
ReplyDeleteLove the blog, love the polo shirt. He's such a cutie.
ReplyDeleteI find this blog interesting because Dylan has just started having blow outs too. She is 6 1/2 weeks and has begun pooping only once a day but that one time... it sure is a doosie! I can't wait to keep reading and find out what I have in store as Dylan gets older. Thanks for keeping such a great blog!
ReplyDeleteAND... next purchase of ours will be... wrist rattles. She doesn't really have or play with toys but after seeing Christian with his wrist finders... I think Dylan might enjoy those. Next stop: Babies R Us!
