The Beginning of Summer and Father's Day

Father's Day! We went to Portage Bay for breakfast and a sushi restaurant in Wallingford for dinner.

Our mowing days might be over (our new landscape people do an all inclusive landscape service so they are taking over everything since we clearly don't know what we're doing - haha) so I real quick taught Olin how to mow.

Our new rock and landscape. So much better. We were completely overgrown with weeds and too many plants and bushes.

We have high hopes for a new eczema regimen - slightly dampened gloves to wear overnight (with another glove covering it to keep the dampness in, and a couple of new balms from the Ezcema Company. This is Day 1.

The Big Move

Christian announced last week he was ready to move out, so I helped him, and just like that he migrated north to the guest bedroom. It's now his! We got a desk from Ikea this past weekend and he set it up by himself last night saying "mom, you didn't tell me how fun it is to put together Ikea furniture". LOL

Olin now has a new desk (actually it's the desk Gong gong took out of a dumpster, I think, and revarnished way back in the day!). We also noted that now he has a perfect bed for any overnight guests!

He's been hard at work personalizing his space...

We're very close to all primary teeth being lost. Olin's down to his last few, and he's been losing a tooth every few months. He said "I've been losing so many teeth, I'm tired of it"...

8th Grade Graduation and End of School Years

They do something called an 8th grade clapout. The 8th graders run the halls of the school 3-4 times while all the parents and students are clapping for them.

One of the moms organized a paintball session for a group of the 8th grade boys the day after school ended. They were nicely surprised.
