HAPPY 12TH CHRISTIAN!!
We absolutely can't believe you are 12! Soon to be a teenager! We love so many things about you it's impossible to list but your keen awareness of all things going on around you, your innate sense of how things work and how to put things together, your precise attention to detail, and your thoughtfulness are among the top. We love you and are so very proud of you. + We met up with Puops and Rong at Haidilao hot pot on Saturday and had a great time. They got him a Swiss Army knife that he loves. + We got him a LEGO grand piano. He said "it's the second year in a row I've gotten a big LEGO!" + We kept it low key with birthday celebration but the Kincaid kids did come over and spend around 6 hours with us which was fun. We played some minute-to-win-it games. + Olin was so excited to order and wrap the Legend trilogy of books for Christian. He used his own money and I opened the (closed) office door to find the gift nicely wrapped on the floor. + My thumbnail updates: the new nail is growing underneath from the trauma two months ago.

Bellingham Girls' Weekend, birds, leftover sandwich
I met up with my dental friends Terra, Trena and Jessica for an overnighter in Bellingham to stay in Terra's recently remodeled home and had a lot of fun chatting the entire time. + The kids played with AJ's little chicks. + Olin left me a note in his sandwich. the toast was enough I will save the sandwitch for tomorrow

Working, Fur Elise, and Personal pizzas
I'm working 3-4 days a week this month so dinners have been a faster affair. And I'm even done with work at 3pm! I really don't know how full time employees manage work, healthy meals, and taking kids to sports. Not to mention exercising and keeping the house clean. I guess they (we) don't. haha. Anyway, here is Christian with his huge personal sized pizza. + Olin came home from piano VERY excited to announce that Onnie was starting him on Fur Elise ("mom, the real one, not the easy one!").

Seattle & Skiing
Christian was working something out of his teeth when we had dinner with corn. He got it out and goes "got it!" and we all thought it was a piece of corn but it was his tooth. It was so funny. Tooth #S lower right first molar.
+ We skied White Pass in very sunny and warm conditions on Friday.
+ My mom sent a pic of Olin with his huge hair when he was a toddler. His hair was so high!
+ We tried Haidilao HotPot restaurant for the first time and it was quite fun!

Escalator fun in Seattle. Separately - our work is having a steps 'competition' or rather a team challenge but it lists everybody's steps. I am currently in 4th place out of 11 and I really would like to inch my way up the list but the top two people are jogging like 10 miles and getting 20K steps a day, which I know I cannot compete with. haha.
+ New blue rug
+ Spikey is dangerously close to running out of food so imagine my dismay when his shipping was delayed! I think the shipment arrives today just in the nick of time.

Super Hodgepodge
+ I microneedled my hand last year when it started getting these age spots and they were gone after one session of microneedling + glycolic acid. My facial spots have been more stubborn and resistant but I do feel I'm getting improvement. + This 4 year old boy at Public Health had not one but two extra teeth! (called mesiodens when they're in between the front two teeth) One is growing the entire opposite direction on the xray. He will get them out at Oral Surgery most likely. + Who uses a phonebook these days? Just for the fun of it I looked up Lee and imagine my surprise when we were listed + Sushi rolls for dinner + Always snap a shot when they're reading.
